Rapid Composite Fatigue Testing

High Cycle Fatigue Testing (HCF)

XCTE is using High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) tests to characterize the fatigue resistance of composite structures. A structure is subjected to vibration excitation, while the change in dynamic properties is measured in real time. Using rapid composite fatigue testing, material data can be obtained within a few hours.

XCTE technology

XCTE makes use of its own software program, MONTEVERDI, to control the HCF test and measure the dynamic properties. Data postprocessing is done using XCTE’s FASTIGUE software program.
